Serving Uninsured Adults

At Bethesda Health Clinic, we are dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to uninsured, low-income adults in East Texas. Our mission is to be the medical home for our patients, offering comprehensive medical and dental care to promote well-being and prevent the need for emergency room visits. Explore the range of services we provide to meet your healthcare needs:

Medical Serves Uninsured Adults (Ages 18-64)

Dental Serves Uninsured Adults (Ages 18+)

Primary Medical

Our primary care physicians are your first point of contact for any health concerns. We offer health promotion, education, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic illnesses. Our holistic approach addresses your physical and spiritual well-being.

Specialty Medical

Dedicated volunteers provide limited specialty services, including gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, endocrinology, and general surgery. Off-site specialty referrals are available for ophthalmology, rheumatology, pulmonary, cardiology, neurology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R).

Dental Services (Ages 18 and up):

Our dental team focuses on pain management and relief, addressing dental issues that affect your emotional and employment well-being. Services include hygiene, fillings, extractions, and more, with an emphasis on providing consistent dental care.

Cancer Screening

We proudly partner with Myriad Genetics to offer the myRisk Hereditary Cancer test at no cost to our patients. This simple blood test combines genetic information with personal and family history to assess cancer risks.

Chronic Disease Management

Our wellness and nutrition education programs aim to prevent chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and lung disease by promoting lifestyle changes. We offer one-on-one coaching to help you make healthier choices, addressing issues like obesity and smoking.

Counseling Services

Recognizing the importance of holistic health, we provide counseling services to support your mental and emotional well-being. Our counselors and certified counselors from MOSAIC offer assistance in English or Spanish to help you work through thoughts, emotions, relationships, or life circumstances.

Our clinic offers a range of ancillary services, including lab work, on-site plain film x-rays, EKGs, and pulmonary tests to provide comprehensive care.
