Bethesda Health Clinic is extremely fortunate to have received the Medinformatix medical software package as a donation from Supreme Technology of Houston, the value of which is estimated to be well over $100,000. This state of the art electronic medical records system, which is also currently being used by various local physicians as well, allows the clinic to store all medical records electronically, including medical history, medication history, diagnosis and previous tests.
In conjunction with the donation of the Medinformatix system, Bethesda Health Clinic also was fortunate to receive a grant from the Health Department to purchase new computers for part of the office staff. This grant was a big step forward for the clinic, yet it left many parts of the clinic unable to access the network due to a lack of computer terminals in certain areas. Once again, thanks to the generosity of a donor, our needs were met when Connect Tyler donated the remaining computers that were needed to complete our high tech clinic.
Currently, the Bethesda Health Clinic is fortunate to have computers in every examining room, giving the examining physician instant access to virtually all of a patient’s records with the click of a mouse. Through the generosity of our donors, we are able to provide high quality health care for our patients in a professional facility, using the latest and best that technology can contribute to the practice of medicine.
